Nomiku is at The White House!
If you’ve followed the Nomi-journey, you’ll know that the Nomiku team has been a very active part of several Maker Faire events, from Shenzhen to New York, to all over California, and we’re so honored and thrilled to be a part of such a monumental event!
A press release from the White House says the the event is inspired by the “citizen makers driving the next era of American innovation.” We’re humbled to have been selected to be among such incredible entrepreneurs and fellow makers.
(Check out the White House Maker Faire announcement from OK Go!)
At the core of this event, the White House says it’s all about bringing together innovators, makers, and entrepreneurs to inspire and empower the American people—especially young and up and coming students and aspiring makers. Looking back when we first started a couple years ago, we know we are so fortunate to live at this time. This is a time when we have access to so much technology, wisdom, and spirit that we are literally able to make our dreams come true.
Of course, we also have you to thank. We are incredibly grateful for your support and we would not be taking this very exciting journey to Washington without you.
We’re here at the White House today, ready to show the world the future of food. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page, Twitter, Instagram, and of course this blog as we’ll be giving you a glimpse into this awesome, awesome event as it unfolds.

We also got some more SF backing from the fine folks over at San Francisco Magazine as well as from the SF Mayor’s Office!
Marie Claire also gave us an awesome shout-out! CEO Lisa arrived in DC yesterday and looks like she’s already making an impression.
Look out for more from us soon! If you want to join in on the Maker action, use the the hashtag #NationofMakers.
All the best,
